Lantern Festival celebrites the end of Spring Festival which is the end of their New Year celebrations

We had a night out at the local KTV and a couple of dances with the hostesses

The girls joined us for dinner last night, they work where we are staying at the Foo Feng Hotel in a small town called FengKuang which is 20mins north of Fengcheng and 1hr south of Nanchang. (Hope that helps)

And the drilling program is 1 step forward and 6 steps back.

We spent a couple of nights in Nanchang partly for shift change Driller going out and Driller coming in, so these are a couple photo's from the hotel also the traffic jam caused by a bus crash.And a couple more from the drill site and hotel were we are staying near Fengchang.

Burial grounds for 13 of the 16 Ming Dynasty Emperors (from 1413-1644).
The first one is buried elsewhere and the 6th and 7th got lost somewhere.

The next day I got into Beijing and did a day tour of the Great Wall at Badaling fortified against northern invaders 2700 years ago, and the Ming Tombs.
The hotel the photo's were taken from is the New World Hotel Beijing, a very nice hotel just don't go drinking at the bar there. Talk about tourist price.

I went site seeing at the Shaolin temple roughly about 1500yrs old.
The Pagoda forest is where the Head Abbot of the time is interned when he is dead, and the size of the tomb can indicate whether he achieved something as his time as Abbot. Shaolin is roughly 1.5 hrs drive from Zhengzhou
